The donation canisters that you see in many local businesses provide the funding for all of the spaying and neutering of the animals at the Potsdam Humane Society. This is a huge supplement to the regular donations that North Country citizens make to keep the local shelter operating.

Missing from photo: Steve Warr (CJ's Bottle Return owner). Amber Lindsey holds CJ's special dog canister, in which people may donate the proceeds from bottle returns. These donations provide the funds needed to finance the shelter's spay-neuter program. The Warr and Fries families are animal lovers and long time generous supporters of PHS.
