The Potsdam Humane Society's Animal Shelter will have power during an electrical outage due to a new 40KW generator recently installed at the facility.
It took a team of community businesses to pull off the project. USDA Rural Development, through the Community Facilities Program with the assistance of Renee Hotte, Area Specialist, and New York State started the project off with $20,000 dollars, each contributing a $10,000 grant.
